Montreal NRG will be returning to the Canadian Xtreme Paintball League (CXBL) as Mont-Royal NRG. The team will compete in the league's Eastern division playing seven matches over five event weekends.

Each match is played over two twenty five minute periods with a five minute half-time between the two. Teams may roster up to fifteen players and may rotate lines after each flag hang.

The team previously played the CXBL in 2006 as Mont-Royal NRG. During 2007, the Mont-Royal franchise changed its name to Xtreme in order to represent a new local field.

NRG will continue to use Montreal as its city name for all other tournaments.

Tryouts will be scheduled soon to fill available places on the roster.
