- William Sinka establishes the team under the name Turbulence.

- The team holds Quebec’s first ‘pro school’ inviting a number of the best players from the USA to come and train both local players and NRG members. Greg Hastings (Smoke), Nicky Cuba (XSV), Oliver Lang (Dynasty), and Pete Utschig (Aftershock) spend the weekend helping to fine tune old skills and developing new ones.
- The team competes in the Canadian Xtreme Paintball League under the Tremblant Cowboys franchise.
- Montreal NRG appears in the new Xbox paintball game Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball.
- Radio Canada, the French version of the CBC film a news segment on the team.
- The NRG Nation organization is launched to better accomodate the large number of members and skill levels.
- Montreal NRG becomes the flagship team with its focus on major international tournaments series.
- For 2006, a franchise is purchased in the Canadian Xtreme Paintball League (CXBL) under the franchise name Mont-Royal NRG.
- Ville-Marie Alliance is created as a farm team for NRG and for 2006 a franchise is purchased in the Minor Xball League (MXL) of the CXBL for the team.
- Team Reloaded joins NRG Nation.
- 514 Kids is created as a junior team.

St-Lazare Jokers joins NRG. The team competes in the CX4 division of the CXBL.

Montreal NRG becomes a franchised team in the Tournament of Champions series.

The team signs an agreement with Syracuse Chaos owner Patrick Purcell. In 2008 Purcell will manage both the Mont-Royal and Syracuse franchises representing NRG in both the CXBL and AXBL series.
