Montreal NRG is one of Canada's most traveled tournament teams. Since 2003, the team's focus has been to compete in major international tournament series traveling regularly to the USA and Europe.

Competing internationally provides the team with more than just the opportunity to play paintball. While traveling, the team usually has time to be tourists and visit the various cities were we compete to learn about the country and its culture. Hand in hand with this is the opportunity to meet new and interesting people from all over the world.

Members have ranged in age from 11 to 40 and being part of the team is not limited to residents of Montreal or even Canada. The team has had both regular and guest members from all over the world including Brazil, Denmark, France, Sweden, and the U.S.A.

For 2009, the team will participate in various events located throughout Ontario and Quebec. The team will also continue to maintain the Mont-Royal NRG franchise as part of the eastern conference of the MXL. The MXL is a part of the Canadian Xtreme Paintball League (CXBL) which is currently Canada's largest competitive series.
